When someone doesn’t value you

Just because someone does not value you, does not mean that you are not valuable. It only means they cannot see value.

A scrap-metal dealer in the Midwest, looking for gold to melt down and sell, came across a small golden egg with a clock and gems inside at a flea market. He purchased it for $14,000. When the man researched how much it would be worth melted down, he found that it wouldn’t turn a profit and he put the egg aside. 

Years later, the man noticed a name engraved on the back of the clock and an online search provided a glimpse into the eggs true origins. The man flew to London to meet with an appraiser. That egg was one of the lost Fabergé Imperial Easter Eggs made for the Russian Imperial family in the late nineteenth century before disappearing during the Revolution.
